Design: It is a small, hexagonal box featuring ornate engravings of courting couples and saints.
Details: The box is typically made of silver or silver-plated brass, and some versions have a gilded (gold-washed) interior.
Origin: Many reproductions were produced in Portugal in the 1980s and bear an "MMA" stamp on the bottom.
