This is a vintage bird-shaped sugar bowl (also referred to as a "Hato Sugar Pot" or "Hato Sugar Bowl") made of carved wood.

The piece features a distinct honeycomb or faceted carved pattern on the body. The lid is shaped like a bird's head (missing beak), and it includes a matching wooden spoon that acts as the bird's tail when inserted into the slot.
