Painting Using Masking Fluid and Watercolor or Gouache - Floral Rabbit

I love the look of an animal illustration with floral motifs. I recently illustrated a rabbit with floral details for the Lunar New Year in red and gold. I thought it would be a fun painting project with masking fluid and watercolor or gouache paint. The floral details would lend itself well to the masking fluid resist and I couldn’t stop picturing the rabbit background in a rich, bold blue. Exploring Artwork in Different Mediums - October 2022

Painted a drawing prompt from yesterday in watercolor (left), acryla gouache (right) and digital (middle). Watercolor version: love the bleeds, imperfections, texture, color, Acryla Gouache: love the vintage storybook vibes that gouache gives off Digital: more perfect and graphic, which I like, but also miss the imperfections and life of painted medium. Plus I like the experience of painting more.
