Painted a drawing prompt from yesterday in watercolor (left), acryla gouache (right) and digital (middle). Watercolor version: love the bleeds, imperfections, texture, color, Acryla Gouache: love the vintage storybook vibes that gouache gives off Digital: more perfect and graphic, which I like, but also miss the imperfections and life of painted medium. Plus I like the experience of painting more.

Dreaming of spring and having fun drawing florals with the symmetry tool in Procreate. Always fun seeing it come together.   View this post on Instagram A post shared by Pauline Stanley (@paulinestanleystudio)

Forever exploring the differences in mediums. First photo: watercolor left, acryla gouache right  Second photo: digital version

New wall art print series! This collection is an exploration of some of my favorite rich colors, geometric patterns and nature motifs. Working on this collection, I developed a work flow that incorporates both traditional painting and digital design, which really suits my interests and style. I’m excited to explore this way of making art more going forward. Prints available in our web shop, Etsy shop and wholesale to our retail partners.

I did a little studio cleaning and refresh in my home art studio and over the weekend. Feeling good about the new energy working in it today. Thought I'd share a peek at the little nooks around my art studio / creative work space.
